Mille Lacs Bridge, South Jordan, Utah

Provided structural calculations and drawings for the wingwall façade and architectural monument footings of the pre-cast concrete arch bridge, as well as design for the steel traffic rail, pedestrian handrail, andconstruction management for the bridge.

Boardwalk and Pedestrian Bridge, Nature Center at Farmington Bay, Utah

Provided the structural design for the 1,000 feet of boardwalk over wetland areas, as well as design for observation decks and a pedestrian bridge.  Provided cost estimates and utilized value engineering to help cut cost for the non-profit organization and provided construction support to the volunteer construction crews.

Oquirrh Lake, South Jordan, Utah

Designed structures associated with 80-acre manmade lake, including retaining walls, bridge footings, piers, utility vaults, pedestrian bridges, water features, and a temporary dam.

Bingham Creek Crossing, South Jordan, Utah

Provided structural calculations and drawings for cast-in-place concrete retaining walls (up to 23’ high) and footings associated with the stream culvert and pedestrian tunnel.

School Building Evaluations, Monticello School District, Utah

Visited Monticello High School and Elementary School to observe existing conditions and studied construction drawings for the several phases of each school.  Based on site observations and construction drawings, analyzed the existing structures for compliance with current codes and made recommendations for future upgrades.

Rock Cliff Bridge Abutment Replacement, Jordanelle State Park, Utah

Provided structural design for the replacement of an abutment of a 110-foot pedestrian bridge.  The original abutment had been washed out by seasonal flows.  The new abutment was designed as a reinforced concrete abutment supported by a reinforced concrete drilled pier.

YMCA Camp Roger Remodel, Wasatch County, Utah

Provided structural design for trusses, footings, and covered porch for the remodel of the lodge.
